In Pokemon Gold & Silver you are yet again a new trainer on your way into the Pokemon World. You have just received your first Pokemon and decide to go on the Pokemon Journey. Along your journey you will meet new trainers, friends, and Pokemon. There will be tough and difficult times on your way. It is your duty as a Pokemon trainer to keep going full steam ahead. Some goals in the game are to collect all 16 Gym Badges, become the Pokemon Champion, and catch all 251 Pokemon.

Pokemon Gold & Silver have differed from Pokemon Red & Blue in numerous ways. There is a night and day system, a clock system, a phone system, and way more. During this quest you get to travel not only in the Johto Region but as an added bonus you get to travel in the Kanto Region after you defeat the Elite Four. Many things have changed in the 3 years since Ash has become Pokemon Champion. You will just have to see for yourself what has changed.

Pokemon Gold & Silver had a few differences where were already mentioned in the Version Differences page which can be found here.

Pokemon Gold & Silver are the only generation of their kind. No remake has been planned for them. This makes them the best of their series. I still play this game hours upon hours when I pick it up. Only because the fun never stops!
